CSec Expo 2025 — Cyber Security Expo & Workshop

About This Event

MBSTU Cyber Security Club organized its first-ever Cyber Security Expo on January 18, 2025, at the 12th Floor, 3rd Academic Building (Cyber Center), MBSTU.

The event featured two main components:

Workshop: Introduction to Cyber Security

A hands-on introductory workshop covering fundamental cybersecurity concepts, delivered by industry experts and faculty.

Distinguished Guests & Speakers:

• Chief Guest: Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Azim Akhand, Vice-Chancellor, MBSTU — who personally reviewed student projects
• Keynote Speaker: Md. Asadujjaman Noor, Offensive Security Engineer, Cyber Bangla
• Session Speaker: Dr. Ziaur Rahman, Associate Professor, Dept. of ICT, MBSTU — Club Advisor

Project Showcase

Student cybersecurity projects were presented and evaluated by the Vice-Chancellor and faculty members. All participants gathered for a memorable group photo with the Vice-Chancellor.

Prize Giving Ceremony

A prize-giving ceremony was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, recognizing outstanding student work and quiz performance.

Our General Secretary ensured smooth quiz participation as an examiner and organizer throughout the event.
